Hold My Candle 

“ Hold my candle” is an innovative design project on 3d modeling candle holders. It challenges us to reimagine the very essence of candle holders, to envision them not as mere objects of utility, but as portals to a realm where creativity knows no bounds.

004 The birth of Venus





In my memory, I stood in front of ‘The birth of Venus’ for a long time in Uffizi Gallery. Even though I had seen it countless times in art books, it was still not as stunning as the first time I stood in front of it in Florence. 

This candle holder is a combination of the architecture I have seen in Florence, the smooth arches, the towering columns, and the fountains in the park. In this candlestick, I used the visual language of architecture to restore ‘The birth of Venus’ in my mind.
